TAKING THE FIRST STEP TO MOVE FORWARD

Change is possible when you allow yourself to ask for help. One of my favorite quotes states, “A journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.”  Creating a comfortable environment for you to explore present and past challenges and learn more about yourself in authentic ways, one step at a time, is my assignment, and I take it very seriously.

My goal is to help you on your journey to self-awareness that begins with discovering your strengths, values, learning and practicing self-care, acquiring new tools to cope with stress, improving confidence, and establishing boundaries to improve clarity and create new meanings.

OWN YOUR STORY

Self-doubt, lack of motivation, sadness, constant worrying, resentment, and fear can impact how you feel about yourself as well as your outlook on life. In session, you and I will explore your thinking patterns, feelings, and experiences to help you connect to your story.  Through journaling and the tools learned, you will begin to reframe your thoughts through positive self-talk, manage emotions, and gain clarity on what matters to you.

HOW I CAN HELP

With my experiences and specialties, I strive to motivate individuals to identify unhelpful thoughts, empower them to make value-based decisions, and learn new behaviors that best meet their needs.

SELF-CARE IS MY WAY OF LIFE

I enjoy spending time with family and friends, game nights, traveling with my husband, trying new recipes, enjoying Chicago’s beautiful lakefront, or cheering on Da Bears. I also enjoy “me” time with my cup of coffee or tea, a good book, or watching my favorite TV shows.
